I have always loved creating things with fabric and thread and I have now diversified into mixed media. I find the satisfaction from making something totally unique a joy like nothing else. I recently studied Textile Design at Winchester School of Art  as a mature student and have now included weaving to my list of skills. I produce mixed media canvasses and hand made journals in all shapes and sizes. I am very much looking forward to Open Studios 2017 as this will be my first time exhibiting at home, so would love to have you come and take a look at my work.

 

Textiles being so tactile by nature don't translate well with photography ........you need to come and touch them which I actively encourage ! Did I mention I love fish ? A recurring theme for me :)
